With world-class technological expertise, Sangbo’s BS(Business Solution) Division specializes in the development and manufacturing of High Functional Films based on advanced coating and film-processing technologies that are recognized in the global market.
The division has successfully demonstrated the mass producibility of CNT, PEDOT, AGNW, and Graphene-based materials, and continues to enhance next-generation products such as Privacy Films, Barrier Films, and Anti-Reflection Films.
By integrating core technologies from display and window film manufacturing with advancements in new material science, the BS Division has established unique expertise in:
Hybrid inorganic–organic barrier coating synthesis technology for barrier films
Micro-louver pattern processing and UV imprinting technologies for privacy films
Particle dispersion, formulation, and thin-film coating technologies for anti-reflection films
Our High Functional Film technologies are applicable to a wide range of industries, including Flexible Displays, Touch Screen Panels (TSP), OLED, ESL, Photovoltaic (PV) Modules, Mobile Displays, and Automotive Displays, with continuous efforts devoted to expanding application areas.
Building on over 40 years of specialized coating and manufacturing experience, Sangbo’s BS Division continues to strengthen its adaptability within the electronic device component market. Barrier Film
A high-performance film with an exceptional moisture barrier rate (WVTR < 10⁻³ g/m²·day).
The wet coating process provides greater cost competitiveness and productivity compared to conventional vacuum deposition methods.
Privacy Film
A functional film utilizing Micro-Louver technology that blocks side visibility while maintaining clear front viewing.
Features precise micro-louver pattern processing and UV imprinting technologies for superior optical performance.
Delivers over 75% light transmittance, minimizing brightness loss for optimal visual efficiency.
Offers various optional functionalities to meet customer needs, including:
Anti-glare, Anti-scratch, UV blocking, Blue light blocking, Anti-fingerprint, and Anti-bacterial properties.
Anti-Reflection Film
A functional film that minimizes reflection by inducing light diffusion and wavelength interference, while providing high hardness and anti-fingerprint characteristics.
Reduces external light reflection and enhances visibility and image clarity through advanced anti-reflection functionality.
Prevents glare with sparkle-free anti-glare performance.
Delivers a smooth touch experience and contamination resistance through anti-fingerprint coating.
Protects the surface with a hard-coat layer that offers superior scratch resistance.
TCF (Transparent Conductive Film)
A transparent electrode film coated with conductive polymers on PET substrate.
Provides low reflectance, high flexibility, and excellent durability.
Maintains stable electrical resistance even under bending or deformation.
Copper Composite Film
A conductive composite film forming a Cu layer on substrates such as polyimide, glass, or other polymer films.
Offers a simplified process compared to conventional metallization methods.
Enables the formation of a pin-hole-free copper layer with high uniformity.
Applicable not only to general polymer films but also to low dielectric films such as LCP, PCT, and PPS, as well as glass substrates.
[R&D Overview]
Development of wet-coated barrier films using organic/inorganic hybrid coating solutions, achieving WVTR performance between 10⁻¹–10⁻³ g/m²·day. Currently in mass production for QD Display and ESL applications.
Development of Privacy Films — In mass production for Monitor and Laptop displays, and under development for Automotive Display Light Control Films.
Development of Transparent Conductive Films (TCF) utilizing PEDOT — Mass production in progress.
Development of Anti-Reflection Films for Mobile Displays (smartphones, tablets, laptops) and Automotive Displays — Mass production of Clear Hard Coating / Anti-Reflection and Anti-Glare Hard Coating / Anti-Reflection films with various optical properties.
